What a reply costs, what your plan includes, and what happens at zero.

What credits pay for
Credits pay for Alfred's work: each chat answer and draft (about a cent per reply) and each email it sends.

What your plan includes
Starter ($20/mo) includes $3 of credit a month, and Pro ($99/mo) $15. The free plan includes no agent replies: add a reply pack in Billing and the agent answers from it; with no pack, visitors get your contact form. Included credit resets each month. When you run low, Billing sells reply packs on every plan, free included: 500 ($5), 1,000 ($10) or 2,500 ($25) more replies; packs never expire.

At zero
Sending pauses until you add credits; nothing is charged on top. The portal chat asks customers to leave their email so you can get back to them. Your balance and packs are in Settings → Billing.
