Alfred + Make
Send contacts in and events out of Alfred with Make's HTTP module.
What it does
- Send contacts in: a Make HTTP module posts a name, email, phone, tags or stage to your Alfred link. Alfred adds the contact, or updates the one it already has, and starts the right follow-up.
- Send events out: Alfred posts to your URL when a contact is added, when someone signs up on your portal or website form, and when a contact finishes a follow-up.
- Bring in customers from tools Alfred does not connect to directly, like another booking system, a form builder or a spreadsheet.
How to set it up
- 1In Alfred, open Settings → Integrations → Any other app and copy your link.
- 2Add a Make HTTP module that posts your contact's details to that link.
- 3To send events out, open Settings → Integrations → Advanced → Push events out and paste your own catch-hook URL.
Good to know
- It works through webhooks, so there is no app to install. You use the tool's own web request step.
- Every event Alfred sends is signed, so you can check it really came from Alfred. If your workflow is down, Alfred retries for about nine hours.
- One outgoing URL per business. Every event goes to it.
